Accumulators

Depending on the application, the accumulator in a hydraulic system can perform different functions: emergency energy reserve for damper pressure, pulse damper, volume compensator... There are different types of accumulators, the main ones are bag, piston, membrane. Energy storage systems can also be equipped with bottles which can guarantee the correct quantity of nitrogen required by the system.

Bladder accumulators

Bladder accumulators

Bladder accumulators are accumulators equipped with a flexible waterproof bag that separates oil from nitrogen. The material of which the bag is made depends on the fluid used and the operating temperature.

Diaphragm accumulators

Diaphragm accumulators

The membrane accumulator includes a pressure-resistant tank in mostly spherical or cylindrical execution. Inside the accumulator there is a membrane made of an elastic and flexible material (elastomer) as a dividing element.
